Welcome to my blog! My name is Katie, and I am 28 years old. I live in Glasgow, which is a vibrant and lively city, with the odd day of sunshine. My favourite things to do in Glasgow are to explore the diverse range of cafes, restaurants and bars, while also relaxing in some of the incredible country parks, and enjoying the bustling nightlife. My main interests include: reading (particularly non-fiction), human rights, policy and campaigning, art, volunteering, writing, meeting friends, walking my dog and exploring the outdoors.
I studied a BA Hons in Law, and undertook a variety of subjects, which included: family law, criminal law, human rights law, law ethics and medicine and contract law. I then went on to further my studies with a masters in international human rights law. This allowed me the opportunity to understand a detailed understanding of human rights law at UK, European and international levels.
I want to share with you my experience living in the digital age, how to switch off from online, human rights, sustainability and navigating life in your 20’s. I hope you enjoy!
